Restart your computer and install the Epic Games launcher again. Search for the folder containing Epic Games on it's name (it should initiate with some apple protocol, so you really have to search for it) and delete it as well.Įmpty your Trash after having deleted everything.
Go back to the Library folder and open the folder Cache. Click on Library to open it.įind the Epic Games folder and delete it. Open Finder, click on the tab Go and then hold alt (option) on your keyboard so the Library folder shows up (if you don't hold alt you won't be able to see it, as it's hidden). If there is, delete it.ĭelete (uninstall) the Epic Games Launcher. Also, go to the path where you had "installed" Fortnite (if you didn't choose a path, it automatically installs it at Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/) and make sure there isn't any residual folder there (it should be named Fortnite). Open the Epic Games Launcher and uninstall Fortnite (even though you couldn't install it, the launcher registers it as installed). Choose the Storage tab and make sure you have the space required by the Epic Games Launcher (that's actually bigger in size than the space the game actually requires, so pay attention to that). It's obvious, but first of all check if you do have the required free space by clicking on the Apple sign on the upper left corner of your screen and then selecting About This Mac.
